QUE Explain the Isotropy and Anisotropy.

SOL  Isotropy "it is the property of an object to exhibit same values of physical properties when measured along axis in different directions." It is observed in those solids in which constitutes particles have random distribution or less orderly arrangement . Amorphous solids are isotropic in nature. e.g. Speed of light remains same when measured along any axis of same crystal of amorphous solid.

Anisotropy "it is the property of an object to exhibit different values of physical properties when measured along axis in different directions." It Is observed in those solids in which constitutes particles have orderly arrangement. Crystalline solids are anisotropic in nature. e.g. The difference in speed of light is observed when measured from different axis of same crystal crystalline solid.
